Mirzya quick movie review

Performances by Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher, a colourful first half with a very different narrative and treatment of the subject stand out as Mirzya’s highlights.

After directing Rang De Basanti, Delhi 6 and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has came back to guide another stunning cinematic experience called Mirzya. For the very first time in his job, he is introducing two star kids in the business lead along with his film – Anil Kapoor’s child and Sonam Kapoor’s more youthful bro, Harshvardhan Kapoor, and Tanvi Azmi’s niece Saiyami Kher. Mirzya revolves around the fable of Mirza – Sahiban, two legend crossed addicts, whose romantic story never really had an happy finishing. However, Mirzya is not totally about Mirza Sahiban – Mehra has used the fable around contemporary times as well, as both Harshvardhan and Saiyami play lovers in several eras.
