Indian Muslim soldiers cannot grow beard

The Supreme Court of India enforced new code of discipline of Indian Air Force on Thursday that no Muslim is allowed to grow beard on the basis of religion.
Further it explained that, banning beard by authorities will not violate the fundamentals human rights.

In 2008, lady airman Ansari Ahmed in Indian Air Power lost his job when he grew beard without authorization of his commanding official. In his security, Ansari argued that growing beard is a simple human and spiritual right.

Moreover, he offered exemplory case of Sikhs who aren’t only permitted to increase beard but also wear turban. Ansari persisted that he should have some rights.

Muhammad Zubair, another official, dismissed from the service on a single charges.

Zubair and ansari championed the armed service court docket order in Delhi High Judge. But, the court’s one-membered bench and later its divisional bench rejected their application, which made these to take their plea to Supreme Court of India to get justice.

But circumstances didn’t altered and Supreme Judge emphasized to revise the armed service discipline over spiritual rights.
